Adventure 02 Character Bios

Davis Motomiya

Davis is the new leader of the digidestined. He's a little simple minded and doesn't think much of the past or future, all he cares about is what's right in front of him. He has a crush on Kari and because of this he is rivals with T.K. Davis is, in his own way, a good leader. His courage in the face of danger and his will and dedication to his team mates reguardless of their harsh treatment of him makes him a true and loyal friend. He doesn't back down when a friend is in danger. He is also quick to forgive, he was there for Ken after he reformed right off the bat, even when the rest of the team wasn't.

Kari Kamiya

Kari isn't as tough as she was in the 1st series and tends to mess with Davis a lot. She manages to get her digivice upgraded to the new D-3 model.

T.K. Takaishi

T.K has really changed since the 1st adventure, he is tougher now and doesn't mess around when it comes to darkness. T.K. is still affected by Patamon's fight with Devimon and lets it cloud his judgment a lot. He is very close friends with Kari, and because of that he fights with Davis a lot.

Yolei Inoue

Yolei is another computer whiz like Izzy but she still turns to him for help. She is a caring person even though she is mean at times and becomes a stary eyed fan girl of any good looking guy she comes across. She and Kari are close friends, so much that they are DNA partners.

Cody Hida

Cody is a very honest person. He was raised by his mom and strict Grandpa who was also teaching him kendo. Cody's dad was a cop who was murdered while protecting a government official. Cody might be the youngest of the new digidestined but he can still be relied on as much as any of the other members.

Ken Ichijouji

Back when he was little, Ken's parents ignored him because of his genius older brother, so Sam began to let the fame go to his head and thought everything was his. So when a digivice came out of the computer, Sam thought it belonged to him and told Ken not to touch it. But he didn't listen to his older brother, and used the digivice. He got sent to the digital world and there he met his partner. With Wormmon at his side, Ken helped Ryo beat Millenniumon. Where he saved Ryo from the dark spores but got hit by one instead. When Ken returned home, Sam found him with the digivice and hit him. Ken yelled at him saying "I wish you were dead!" Ken got his wish, even though he didn't mean to because Sam got hit by a car. Seeing how upset his parents were at the death of their gifted son and feeling like Sam's death was partly his own fault, Ken began to study harder, and the dark seed in his neck helped him become the best at whatever he wanted. Eventually Ken became a genius and let the fame go to his head like Sam had, but this time it was largly the result of the dark seed's corrupting his mind. He then became the Digimon Emperor. Ken loved to hurt and enslave innocent digimon and began beating his partner, Wormmon whenever he was upset at something. He used his new dark D-3 digivice (which he had transformed from his original back when he had first traveled to the dark ocean.) to prevent the original digidestined's digimon from digivolving. Eventually Ken gets snaped back into reality by the death of Wormmon and left. Ken kept his distance from the other digidestined, thinking they'd never accept him and felt like he didn't deserve their friendship. He was proven wrong when Davis showed Ken that he forgives him, resulting in a new digivolution called DNA/Jogress digivolution. Slowly the other digidestined came around and forgave him too.

Tai Kamiya

He was the original goggle boy, but his role as leader has past. Tai no longer leads and passed his goggles on to Davis, making him the new leader. Tai acts as a guide for the new team and gives advice often.

Matt Ishida

Matt, once the rebel of the group, is now the rock star, now with his own band called "The Teenage Wolves." Matt has become a target of fan girls, mainly Davis' older sister, Jun. Matt offers advise to the new digidestined when the need it.

Sora Takenouchi

Sora is in high school & quits playing soccer & starts playing tennis. She is pretty much the same as she was near the end the first series. She helps out at times.

Mimi Tachikawa

Mimi has changed from her 'princess' attitude she had in the 1st series and is a very kind and caring person. She moved to New York but flies to Japan sometimes and offers the new digidestined advice.

Izzy Izumi

Izzy is still the main computer whiz helps the new digidestined whith the computer stuff & keeps an eye on them when they are in the Digital World.

Joe Kido

Joe is still trying to become a doctor, but this time it's for his own reasons. He offers help to the new digidestined when they need it.
